We Dare You to get hitched!

Hey everybody!

We here at Pi Theatre and the Vancouver TheatreSports™ League are busy working away, making sure that the first ever Dare You rocks your world! Exciting things are happening right now, as new features are being added to the event.

Our silent auction is also shaping up to be quite the bazaar of daring activities, with vouchers and passes coming in for dance classes and adventures in the sky . . . also waffles.

Keep checking back in to this blog, and lookout for advance tickets to Dare You if you want a guarantee your place in the house.

I dare you to give me money! It ‘s for a good cause I swear!

On June 1st, Pi Theatre will in association with the Vancouver TheatreSports™ League be holding our first annual “Dare You” fundraiser ever. Have you ever dared your friends to do something outrageous? Courageous? But there just was not enough momentum to propel that friend into doing it? Well regret not my friend, because at “Dare You”, you can dare someone to do something daredevil-ish, get some mutual friends to pledge at least $400 and hopefully the momentum will get the dare-ee to perform that dare on the TheatreSports™ stage in front of a live and rowdy audience on Thursday June 1st.

At “Dare You” the performance of challenges wont be the only attraction, there will be fine food, beverages, and a silent auction with a host of desirable prizes. The night will be hosted by CTV’s own Marke Driesschen, ensuring that everyone will have an excellent adventure of the night. If you are feeling particularly fearless, you can either dare yourself into being one of the main dare-takers on stage, or take part in one of the many special surprises that we having brewing up.

Pi theatre and the Vancouver TheatreSports™ League are not-for-profit charities registered with Revenue Canada. All proceeds from “Dare You” will go to the operations of both organizations. Like I said, a good cause.
