After a fantastic run in Vancouver, John & Beatrice closed on Saturday, and our cast and some of our crew took off for Saskatoon. The show opens there tonight, and plays to a sold-out run, through May 31.
The show will be playing in a nearly-finished building, rather than a theatre, in order to accommodate the site-specific needs of the piece. Our projection designer Tim Matheson went along to recreate the window effect, filming the view out of a brand new window, this time with a prairie view instead of the mountains. Here at Pi we are wishing the cast and crew and all our partners at Persephone Theatre a huge Merde! We all wish we could be there to clink a glass with you after tonight’s opening.
