Roxana Chapela

Roxana is Pi Theatre’s Set Designer for HIVE 3, and she is an emerging artist participating in our Prime Placements program.

Roxana has a BA in architecture and a certificate in Fine Arts. While studying in Mexico she found a passion for creating imaginary spaces through set design and art direction. This lead her to specialize in the field while acquiring skills in carpentry, drawing, painting, sewing, sculpture and theatre.

For the past 6 years she had been working in different kinds of projects like the feature film Che from Steven Soderbergh as Construction Coordinator. She has also been an Art Director of several short films, web series and commercials, as well as participating as a Set Designer for plays like Susana y los Jóvenes produced by the National Theatre Company of Mexico.
