Playing the role of Kate in At the Speed of Light, you might have just seen Melissa on stage in our production of Erin Sheilds' Beautiful Man, and coming up you can catch her in our production of Anders Lustgarten's Lampedusa. Basically, we're really big fans of Melissa over here.

Melissa is a long-time theatre actor and emerging director who performed frequently for live audiences when that was allowed. She previously appeared with Pi Theatre in Peter Dickinson’s Long Division.  Other favourite credits include The Twelve Dates of Christmas, She Stoops to Conquer, Boeing Boeing (Arts Club), Les Belles Soeurs, The Duchess (Ruby Slippers), The Open House (Sticks and Stones),  Flare Path, The Sea (Slamming Door Collective), and A Beautiful View (Naked Goddess) among many others.  If all goes as planned, Melissa will be treading the boards again this year with Green Thumb Theatre, Itsazoo, Bard on the Beach, and in Pi Theatre’s highly anticipated production of Lampedusa.  She is grateful to her friends, family and partner for their enduring support during this difficult year, and so thankful to Peter, Richard, Brett, and Amber for being such generous and brilliant collaborators on this project.  Melissa acknowledges that she was born, lives, and works on the traditional and stolen lands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tseil-Waututh nations.
