In June 2018, Toronto's drag queen bombshell Pearle Harbour came to BC with her award winning show, Chautauqua! Chautauqua is an immersive extravaganza: part cabaret, part tragicomedy, part Tent Revival, part drag. It includes music, sing-a-longs, puppet shows and even an exorcism! The world may be falling apart, but Pearle shows you that there's more that unites us than divides us!
Be honest: how are you doing, really? Are you behind on your emails? Are you worried? Afraid? Lost?
You are not alone. And connection is the cure for what ails ya. Come gather together, under the milky folds of Pearle’s beautiful tent, and be sheltered from the inharmony of our troubled times. Catch your breath, speak your truth, and feel the people power! You betcha!
Pearle Harbour's Chautauqua ran for four performances at The Cultch's Culture Lab, 1895 Venables Street, between June 28th and 30th.
4pm: June 30th
8pm: June 28th, 29th and 30th
